Inquiry and Project Work
In one project, children built an ankylosaurus from recycled materials: a small prototype first, then a large model worked out with measurements of size, proportion and weight.
They carried it by bus to a donor’s office and presented it in the boardroom.
Multi-Lingual Learning
Children learn in English alongside Chinese, Malay and Tamil, the mother tongue languages of Singapore, through stories, songs and daily conversation.
Creative Expression
Art, music and dance are daily languages here. Children have written song lyrics with a conductor and created performances with professional dancers.
Outdoor and Real-Life Experiences
A garden with a pond and tree house for daily investigation, and visits beyond the Centre, from Gardens by the Bay to concerts at the Esplanade.
Ready for Primary 1
School Readiness
By Kindergarten 2, children leave self-reliant, confident and emotionally resilient, with the language, numeracy and thinking skills to start Primary 1 well.
